- The NBA's Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Steve Nash has been named as a 'person of interest' in a recent rash of blunt-force trauma head injuries, due to people being hit in the head with basketballs, for the sake of saving energy in their homes!
- Arky Muscato, of Peoria, Az., has qualified regionally for the World Golfers Championship, shooting an 89 at Sun City Country Club, in Sun City, Az. The next step is to qualify at the national level, at the Wigwam Golf Resort(Litchfield Park, Phoenix, Az.) September 9th thru 12th, with the winners receiving all-expense paid trips to the World Championships, in HUA-HIA, Thailand, representing the United States against all other participating countries, October 30th thru November 6th.
- Sun City Country Club has a great summer golf deal: $125 for ten(10) rounds - including cart & practice range balls. Anyone may use the issued punch card, and it is good thru September 30th!
